PR shapes the industry, says Davido’s PR officer, IamDre

Davido’s Public Relation Manager, Aladegbola Oluwasegun Oluwadamilare has said that Public Relations (PR) contribute immensely to the growth of the entertainment industry.
The PR expert made this known in a recent interview while speaking about what to expect in the entertainment space and his area of specialization, he noted that “This age we are most things that happened on the Internet are PR’ed, I feel PR Shapes the industry, puts it on autopilot to a higher level, PR plays a major role in the game, they a lot of top PR firms changing and shaping the game right now and I’m proud of them all can’t mention one, but

IamDre who took up the role as Davido’ s PR officer immediately after his university days also hinted at the need for up and coming PR experts to seek more knowledge in the field and take up PR courses, he said: “I urge more people to go take PR courses, it’s a big business, in years to come It will become bigger and a stronger force, they are types of PR by the way you have to decide which space you can fit in and go for it”.

Describing how it is working with his DMW Boss, Davido he said “First of all David is selfless, he puts his people first, it makes work easier, David is the type of person to give you his shirt and walk naked, working with David is a blessing, he knows when to make the right moves and decisions, always punctual to his gigs, always carrying everyone along, working with David has upgraded my work and personality, lastly working with David is stressfree”, he said.

Revealing his vision for the industry, he said “Breaking boundaries, connecting more dots globally. Also pushing David as one of the powerful gatekeepers of African music playing a key role in keeping the industry alive is the energy we need. Together we can change Africa for the better through music and our culture and also we need to build more firms educating people more about the business (PR) and how the entertainment industry works.
